A disconnected PDA

The other day I mentioned about how always-on devices would be helpful. Well, I see myself more and more using my PDA as a stand-alone device, since it is so cumbersome to connect, and the capabilities of the browser are so limited. Anyway, the PIM application is superb (Pocket Informant 2005), and since I can't be syncing in multiple computers I only sync at home, and really don't use the desktop PIM at all...

I am quite disappointed with the current platforms. Maybe it's just today, but it will take some more features and more ease of use to make me upgrade to a newer device.
