Uh oh-- Palm's being sued?

So I guess this could be classified as "Breaking News!"

This morning a law firm submitted a class-action law suit on behalf of Treo owners based on the claims of the plaintiff that Treos:

""suffered from extremely poor sound quality and buzzing, choppiness, speakerphone problems, poor and broken screens, phone crashes, software crashes and electrical surges. When Palm replaced phones in response to these problems they replicated the problems by providing consumers refurbished phones subject to identical issues"

What will come of this? I don't know. But definitely makes me wonder if this is going to hold up or accelerate the release of the Treo 700.
