Mo mem for new Palms

Yesterday I told you all about the highly anticipated Tungsten X with 128mb flash mem. Well it appears that things are in the works for Palms with GIGS of memory. Hitachi, one of the leaders in the micro-memory market has announced that it is shipping it's first 6gb and 8gb microdrives. These drives will be 20% smaller and consume 50% less power, making them a pefect addition to a future Palm. In addition, these drives have the ever-so-popular "drop-sensor technology" which protects against data loss in the event of a drop. So get ready to get gigs!
