Palm gets gooder!

When Palm launched the Tungsten line I was skeptical. I saw it as a backward outgrowth of the V/Vx line, it was larger, it had shotty battery life, and it was not the most user friendly with a reduced screen:device ratio. However, they cleaned up their act, developed my beloved Treo, as well as some outstanding devices such as the Tungsten E as well as the T line.

Well here comes the new edition, the X!
This device will set you back about $300, but on October 11th you'll be able to have the Palm of all Palms (exceptions being the ass-kicking Lifedrive and my lifeblood the Treo). The X will have a 312mhz XScale CPU, 128mb of flash memory, 802.11b WiFi, Bluetooth 1.2, and of course an SD slot. So to sum it up, here's your chance to own an outstanding device at an outstanding price.

Any questions?
