Portable Medical Record
Very interesting application that CapMed is marketing. It is essentially a USB flash-drive with an application with the user's medical record. It is password protected, however there is an "emergency" area that ER staff can access for critical information.
I wonder if people are going to use that. I am sure most ERs and MD offices are equipped to view it. I would certainly welcome patients that would carry this, so it would make our visits easier by looking at updated medications, visits etc.
