Epocrates Mobile CME

Also with my new installation of Epocrates came their new utility called Epocrates Mobile CME. I am not much of reading on my PDA, but I gave it a try nonetheless.

I liked the application for 3 reasons:
- a well built "directory" that tracks which CME articles you've begun reading or are complete.
- short articles that can be really read in a short amount of time.
- there's an area where I can select what specialties I'd like to read about.

People do not have prolonged periods of time where they will use their PDA. If they have 30 minutes of down-time, they'll just use a computer instead. But ePocrates realized that they could provide good content for people that had only a few minutes. Maybe in the bus/subway, or in a cafeteria somewhere.

One downside: there is no Hematology/Oncology area. Their content comes from Journal Watch, and they have no Hematology/Oncology publication as well. I have emailed them in the past and their answer was that no such publication was being planned.
