Windows Mobile 5: real progress ?

Maybe the much talked-about Windows Mobile 5 doesn't have that many advantages over the now obsolete Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Critics are unhappy with Activesync 4.0 not supporting wireless sync. I am not sure why Microsoft would do that, but I find that a step backwards. I am yet to see how much progress it really is in terms of functionality in general, ease of use, wireless connectivity, etc.

I am also disappointed that Dell will not release an upgrade for the Axim X30 line of PDAs. So basically if I want to add more functionality to it, I will have to exchange it for something newer. Thanks, but no thanks.
