Gmail up to 2 Gb and up !

There is no suprise that I really like Gmail, Google's email service. They just announced that they are increasing the maximum size of the mailboxes to 2 Gb per user. In addition they mentioned that they are going to allow people to store even more, without a set limit.

G is for growth Storage is an important part of email, but that doesn't mean you should have to worry about it. To celebrate our one-year birthday, we're giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able. We know that email will only become more important in people's lives, and we want Gmail to keep up with our users and their needs. From Gmail, you can expect more.

This is a great announcement, which makes me want even more to import all my old e-mail into Gmail and use it as the only e-mail client. I hope they come up with a calendar, to-do list and notes as well....

I have many Gmail invitations to give away, you can just post a comment with your current e-mail and I will be happy to send one your way.
