What's the best PIM for PalmOS or Pocket PC ?
I am now using both platforms on a daily basis. Clearly there are some advantages of PalmOS over Pocket PC, and I think it is the quick response of the system and the very consistent interface and synchronization features. Anyway, I have been using Pocket PC for almost 2 years, and I am very happy with Pocket Informant as my PIM (personal information manager). It is a must for those that use the calendar, tasks or contacts features (who doesn't ?). But I am looking for a similar application for the Palm platform. I used Agendus during the trial period, and was impressed. Are there better options ?
One other thing, I am almost switching my primary e-mail platform to Gmail. It is very practical, non-intrusive (meaning a simple interface) and has the keyboard shortcuts that I like so much. But it still does not have calendar, tasks and such. I encourage those that have not tried Gmail to try... for now you can get it only by invitation, so I will start by leaving one invitation here (gone), that's the only one I have for now.
Update: one of our readers (Vinay Banari) offered 2 invitations for Gmail to be placed here: invite 1, invite 2. Thanks Vinay !!

Hi,
I work in the healthcare mobile software field and a regular reader of MedPDA. Congratulations on a good, resourceful site. If you want to donate more Gmail invites to your readers, I have 2 to give. Just Email me and I will send you those. Thanks.

I think Agendus is one of the best PIMs out there (Palm and PPC combined) - clean simple to use interface. Very nice Calendar and contact integration. I like the logging and contact history features which the others lack. The other popular PalmOS one is DatebookV which is more cluttered but has more calendar options for the "meeting-centric" users.
