Microsoft's push for note taking software
I have been looking for software to allow me to better organize my notes on my PDA. I essentially need a tool that would allow me to take quick notes and organize them. Both Palm and Pocket PCs have a note-taking application, but that just looks too limited. Phatnotes has some features that I'd like to see.
Microsoft caught my attention with their OneNote application. It is supposed to help people take decent notes, make them searchable. It also allows the user to draw and highlight areas of documents. Even though it is mainly targeted at college students, it seems like a good idea. To take full advantage of the application, a Tablet PC is required, but you can take notes with the keyboard and mouse as well.
What I wanted was a down-sized version of OneNote that I could carry with me on my PDA. Any ideas ?
