Using the PDA as a laptop

This is something that I've been thinking about for some time. Now that I've got a fully wireless PDA, why not use a Bluetooth keyboard and just use it as a laptop ? It's lighter, cheaper, and should do what I need the most: web, email, some simple text editing and posting. That's all I need a laptop for: to be mobile and productive. Current systems should be able to do this with ease. And I could carry the PDA in one pocket and the keyboard neatly folded in another pocket.

Brighthand has just published a story about this. Maybe when that Bluetooth keyboard gets cheaper I could give it a shot.

You don't need an expensive bluetooth keyboard. I've been using a folding Darfon keyboard with my XDA11 for the past 18 months-- simple cheap & effective
