UnBound Surgery online screenshots
I have been trying the newly released Unbound Surgery, from Unbound Medicine for a few days. Even though I have only used the online version (my PalmOS PDA has not arrived yet), I think I am able to write a few words about the online version.
It is supposed to be a variant of UpToDate for Surgery, but in a much more concise way. Obviously, surgeons want straight-to-the-point facts, and something that really helps make management decisions. Unbound Surgery is exactly that. It has many of the most common surgical entities, and each disease is then dissected by experts in the field. There is a sidebar that has the outline for the document being viewed. The pages are very well designed, load quickly and present the content in an organized way. Also interesting is a "library" feature, which lets the user save the most interesting topics.
Check out some screenshots: Unbound Surgery 1 2 3
I will write more about the PDA versions soon.
