Electronic Sign-out sheets
At my institution we keep Microsoft Word documents for each service on the intranet. It works fairly well, except when someone forgets the signout sheet open, and no one can work on the file.
I wonder if a web service would be a better option. Maybe a web interface, where people would be updating each field, and a "report" would be published and printable. It could also be acessed by PDAs connected to the Intranet.
If someone knows such a service or a way to get it going it would be interesting.
